MOTD ( Smokey Blue )

So i feel like wearing a lil colour on my lids today. If you know me, i'm always and forever neutral/smokeye eyes and bold lips kinda girl. I really like my lips and of course, that saves alot of time. Easier to do my lips than my tiny asian asian eyes :)

- Prime lids with eyeshadow primer. I used Nyx eyeshadow base in White.
- Apply a line of black eyeshadow on the double eyelid. I used MAC Carbon.
- Using a fluffy blending brush, blend sideways toward the outer corner of the eyes.
- Using a small eyeshadow brush and a metallic colour and Duwop Payoff Eyeshadow Intensifier, mix them, apply the second color only on the double eyelid. I used the shimmery blue from Sleek I-Divine Sunset palette.
- Blend them and darken the crease further.
- To add more drama, i'd suggest using an off white shimmer like MAC Vanilla to highlight the brown bone.

The Duwop Payoff is an interesting product. I bought it out of curiousity from Luxola.com and oh my, it works really nicely with shimmer eyeshadows. No creasing or flyoffs, just creamy foolproof easy to apply texture upon mixing. The colour is a tad intensified too.
In the Duwop Payoff swatch photo, the bottom darker colour is after mixing. I used one of the colours from Sleek I-Divine Bad Girl palette.

HOW TO : Ombre Hair.

I hope this will solve all the questions if you need to bleach first before dyeing, how to use the dye etc.
For now, i am taking preorders for La Riche Directions hairdyes, $17 only per tub plus postage. Unlike most sites i saw, $23. [ RIP-OFF. ]

You can place an order with me if you live in Singapore, preorder closing on 31st August.
Here's a link to my facebook for you to drop me an inbox message in regards to any orders. www.facebook.com/watimanson :)

You'll need hair bleach, Directions dye, aluminium foil, a brush, gloves and hairdryer.

  • Cut out strips of foil
  • Place a section of hair on it
  • Apply bleach mixture
  • Wrap and apply heat using hairdryer.
  • Keep it between 25-30mins.
  • Rinse and keep it damp.
  • Apply Directions dye using gloves on bleached parts.
  • Keep it for 30-45mins.
  • Rinse with cold water and conditioner.
  • Done!

For lighter colours like Apricot, Pastel Pink etc, you will need to bleach your hair till light yellow. Else there'll be very little result.
 Ombre hair is fun.
Back in my days, 8 years ago, i just called it "gradient". Now that "gradient" is making a revival. Interesting. I will be posting more HOW TO subjects soon, in regards to make up etc. If i have time.

Bonita Bonette is still growing up.

I'm pretty obsessed with these bony hands clips. I'm still experimenting with ideas on how they should look.
They will be launched in mid october or earlier with more other types of accessories including bracelets, necklaces and earrings.

Painting, putting parts together, sourcing for quality supplies, designing their backing cards/stickers which gonna have cool tattoo artworks by various artists on it, designing logo, constantly brainstorming for new ideas etc.

This brain never really sleeps.

Welcome to the place where i will dump my projekts in.

This will revolve mainly for MAKE.UP.MAKE.OUT and Bonita Bonette. Everything my hands make as per what my mind's eye envision.
